Ho ho ho! Santa is SO ready to pop these little beauts into stockings nationwide, but if you’d rather not risk being missed, you can buy one and pop it into a stocking yourself.
The Sustainable Stocking Filler is the festive sibling of our Letterbox Tea Break, just a bit more of a show-off. She’s got glitz and glamour and would be singing Mariah Carey if we could hear her. In your Stocking Filler you will find:
- 1 x pre-loved mystery book in the genre of your choice, beautifully parcelled up in recycled and recyclable festive wrappings
- 1 x handmade bookmark in a seasonally appropriate colour scheme
- 1 x hot drink of your choice; tea, coffee or hot chocolate (if you choose tea you will find it to be an extremely festive cup)
- 1 x snack with a Christmassy vibe - think chocolate with an orange, spiced or candy cane feel
- 1 x little Christmas card which can be personalised with your own message
… and a handful of chocolate coins, especially for those who made the nice list this year. Although, frankly, I hear the naughty list is way more fun. Whichever one you’re on, fill that stocking with joy!
The Sustainable Stocking Filler
The books we use are pre-loved and, as a result, some of them can vary in terms of condition. We clean the books we use and only send them out if we deem them to be acceptable to receive. Please note that some of the books may show signs of age (don’t we all), and there is the possibility of some slight foxing or, if you’re really lucky, perhaps some annotations or gift messages in them from their past owners. We think this is part of the joy of second-hand books, but if you are very particular about this then do drop me a note in the box and we’ll make sure to find you something more... shall we say, youthful.
